insights of an ecoartist 2024
This 6-week online residency program aims to create an atmosphere of collaboration and connection, where international eco artists can come together and grow their practice in the areas of sustainability and expand their art practice through feedback and mutual support.
In the residency, I am revisiting the topic of fungi and their potential for circular economy materials and products. Drawings and paintings with ink and graphite attempt to capture the beauty of these mystical animal-plant creatures. A virtual exhibition presents the works created in the residency.
edition basel 2024
in the summer of 2024, an international group of artists is working on the common theme “what color will my skin be under water?” using various printing techniques at the competence center druckwerk basel.
with AI, i create new poetic non-sens questions, which i print in traditional letterpress in silver on handmade paper. the resulting works will be presented at KASKO, the project space for contemporary art in basel.
